Random Pictures and My Background

Over the years, I have shot literally hundreds of thousands of frames in all sorts of
different categories and genres.  I decided to add this page more for fun than anything----
just to give you an opportunity to glance into my "portfolio."
I have photographed people (both living and dead), animals, nature scenes,
architecture, weather phenomenon, sporting events, parades,
car shows, fireworks displays, air shows, hot air balloon races, in-air photography----
pretty much anything that someone wanted pictures of.
I included a small sampling of some of my endeavors below that did not fit into
any other classification of photography on the website.
If you have some special photographic need that I didn't cover anywhere
in all of these pages of services that we offer, e-mail me with your inquiry.
Meanwhile, enjoy some of my different photos.

My Background

I attended Chaminade College Prep High School in St. Louis, MO.  I was in the Photography Club, but actually wanted a career as an
airline pilot.  That didn't work out because I was far too tall.  Through some strange circumstances, I got into the broadcasting industry as both
an on-air personality and as an engineer.  I continued my education at the University of Missouri, Columbia (Go Mizzou Tigers; notice this page is black and gold?) where I earned degrees in Media Communication and Psychology.  I continued in media doing talk radio and every music format known (well, almost.  I never did "rap" or "headbanger" radio)  I decided to leave the glory of radio after about 10 years to pursue a more exciting career as a Police Officer and have been doing that for the past 20 years.  I was fortunate enough to be sent to CSI school (yes, just like the TV show!) where I perfected my photo skills (and hence the comment above about photographing people both "living and dead.").  In 2001, I launched my own website.  Besides shooting for my site, I found myself shooting for and designing several others' websites.  All of that branched out into me being the "family photographer" (every family has one, don't they?)  and then shooting family weddings, and ....................................... You get the idea.
In A Flash was born in January, 2005.
